I am a member of the jury for the exhibition "Open Door"
Step by step
My first major exhibition after my return to painting took place in 2021.
And since then, I have not stopped.
In 2021, I received an unexpectedly generous offer from the Art & Shock Gallery in Paphos. They were ready to accept my works without limitation for their newly opening exhibition, “WISDOM COMES WITH THE BEGINNING OF WINTER?”, and gave an entire hall to my paintings.
That was the beginning of my long collaboration with this wonderful gallery — and of my friendship with its owner, Elena Dobrovolsky.
One day, I will tell the story of each of the major exhibitions in which I have taken part. But for now, I will simply list them.
It is a curious thing. I had never counted my exhibitions or kept any formal record of them. But while preparing this website, I had to reconstruct the story: to remember, to look through old correspondence, to find certificates and diplomas. And, surprisingly, it turned out that from 2021 to the present moment, I have taken part in exactly thirteen exhibitions in different countries.
Thirteen. A devil’s dozen, as they say.
That sounds like a good reason to throw a small party, doesn’t it?
